I have literally looked everywhere and tried every mascara for something that doesn’t clump or need separating with a comb. With the first coat it separates and lengthens lashes. Do need a couple coats for a dramatic look but seriously gonna keep coming to this one.For the price it’s worth it, considering how much they retail in store. Gonna be buying again from here.

★☆☆☆☆ This mascara arrived without a hygiene seal, just a red sticker that’s says warranty void when seal is broken. Well no wonder! You have to break the seal to open the mascara and it is dried out. Either very old stock or it is not new. Either way it is only fit for the bin. Very disappointed, also that Amazon continues to allow this to be sold. Wish I had read back through the older reviews. I only bought this online to avoid a trip to the shops. Will only be buying this in store, properly sealed, in future.

★★★★★ I have bought many mascaras over the years, some good some not so good but none as cheap as this one. Can't believe out of them all this is definitely the best. It goes on so easily without clumping at all, lasts all day without smudging then comes off easily at night. What a find. I'll never go back to the more expensive makes that don't deliver half as much as this one.

★★★★★ I came across this mascara because my usual L’Oréal one had sold out, so I took a chance with Rimmel. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and price. My eyelashes are long, but sparse, the masarca wasn’t clumpy and gave an even coverage, keeping my eyelashes separated and giving a thick appearance. I have recommended this mascara to my sister, who spends a fortune on very expensive, high end make up. I won’t be returning to my previous mascara.

★★★★★ I have used Rimmel products for years. I have quite sensitive skin and I have found that some mascaras make my eyes sore. Never had a problem with Rimmel. Good texture and definition. I find the brush shape easy to handle.

I’m using the same mascara for so many years, and I already know the packaging.Never in life I bought one without packaging, I will attached how it should be. I received mine without any packaging.Also you can see my old one, and the new one. They are different. Smell is similar.

The mascara in this range with very similar yellow packaging but pink (not purple, pink!) writing is my holy grail – lengthening, thickening, really buildable, doesn't flake or run. It's a dream, as is the teal writing one which is the waterproof equivalent. I couldn't find any online recently so got this one instead.I don't know whether it's the brush or the formula, but this one with the black writing on the packaging is complete rubbish. It makes all of my eyelashes clump together, but not in a thick way so that I can go in with a finer spoolie and separate them – instead it seems to make them look like they've disappeared entirely. Gives no extra length, ruins your natural lash volume, and all round looks sad and rubbish. I have no idea why they continue to sell this one when there are so many mascaras in this range that work really well. Don't waste your money, get the one with the pink or teal writing instead!

★☆☆☆☆ This mascara is most definitely not genuine Maybelline yes I bought it almost 3 months ago but been unable to use as I’ve had eye surgery in both eyes spaced 8 weeks apart and been unable to use make up until now1) it doesn’t colour the lashes2) it dos not thicken the lashes3) it does not lengthen the lashes4) there is no Color on the cotton wool when cleaning the lashesDon’t touch it with a barge poleI don’t like to leave a bad review however in this instance I have no choice !!!!

★☆☆☆☆ The mascara arrived today. It did not have a cover around it for hygiene purposes. When I have purchased this in a store it has always had a wrap around it. To prove it has not been opened. I only hope it has not been used. I am very reluctant whetherto use it or not. Surely there is a health risk here and should they be sold like this? Health warning don't buy this product if it is not wrapped.

★★★☆☆ Lovely natural effect, unfortunately it smudges quickly on me after a few hours, even with eye makeup primer, concealer and powder on my lower eyelid. Wand design is not great for capturing lashes. Need to run wand over lashes many times just to get all lashes coated evenly. However, good thing is the wand tip is small and easy to control, so smudging is highly unlikely during application. I suggest you try spreading some of the excess mascara at the tip of the wand on your lashes, then go over with the wand brush, that might get more product on the lashes more effectively.

Easy to use lashes look good I tend to use baby wipes to remove & have had no problems with that ( readers don't dismay with my use of baby wipes am allergic to creams) would purchase again

★★★☆☆ This item was average I would say, I found it strange that it had no outer packaging or even a sticker over the opening, it looked rather dry as though it was a little old.I used a new mascara brush to try this and it went on a dream, my problem was it didn’t seem to last as long as I’d like, the tips of the lashes started to crumble and began to feel heavy after around 10 hours which for me a good mascara should last all day and all night. For the price it is still a decent mascara but if you want long lasting I’d pay that little bit more although once again this did enhance my lashes

This mascara though deserves it....It goes on well, as usual after a few applications there seems to be too much product on the brush, but thats not a problem for anyone used to mascara.Where this this comes in for the full 5* review is it doesn't leave a trail of itself just below the brow....previous years once winter comes and I start using waterproof mascara I hit on the problem that the ones I was using (max factor and Revlon) would come off wherever my lashes touched my skin... I put this down to the Maybaline Baby Skin I always wear.... This L'Oreal one doesn't react to it...Yippee... I get home from dog walks with Mascara just on my lashes... for that reason this is gonna be the only one I buy till you can't get it anymore....no point in changing when you've found the right one.

★★★☆☆ Definitely not the worst mascara I have ever used, but not the best either. This is not too liquidy, so does not splatter all over your face when you apply it, but a week or two in I did run into problems. I always apply to my right eye first, put the spoolie back in the container then do the left. I found that after about the first week or so my right eyelashes looked clumpy but my left looked really nice still. I have now had to start applying to both eyes "simultaneously" (one stroke to left eye, one to right, and just keep alternating until I've got full coverage) and placing the spoolie back in the container to get the smoother mascara out. I don't like doing it that way, but it gives good coverage without the clumping I was getting before. Not sure why this is happening, I can't remember this happening before, obviously I've had "clumpy" mascara, just not clumpy then smooth. The spoolie shape is good, not one of those giant ones that stabs your eye, nor is it one of those fine ones thats only any good for your lower lashes.

★★★★☆ Swim a lot and work in film so have tried hundreds of waterproof mascaras. This is one of only two that works, and even better, it doesn’t hurt your eyelashes or contacts like the other one. Fallen out and damaged eyelashes have regrown strong, thick and healthy with this. Comes off easily but only when you decide to remove it. Holds any curl you put in and naturally curls too. HOWEVER the worst brush I have ever found. Unusuable and have to use those disposable ones instead. The wand itself causes clumps, goes all over the eyelid, doesn’t sit in the tube right and leaves it gunky and leaking. Use the formula with literally any other wand and none of this happens, you get super long, water proof, bulletproof eyelashes. Fix it please as this is so special
