The gaps between the keys do lead straight to the main circuitry so any liquid spilled on it would certainly do damage. So just be careful with a glass of water or any other liquid.

★★★★★ I would definitely recommend this fold up piano.If only there was a full size 88 key weighted key touch sensitive piano with sustain pedal that you can fold in half and store when not in use… well here it is!I thought that there would be a few compromises but actually it’s brilliant!I’m used to a very nice professional digital piano but can’t fit it on the house. This fold up piano is perfect.The sound quality is pretty impressive actually.It links up with Bluetooth to my iPhone or iPad with no connection problems.I have bought a usb c to lightening cable to connect it directly to try that out too. (Not used yet)It can be used while charging and has hours of battery life.The touch sensitive keys are very good.The light up aspect is ok. The demo songs only play the right hand and not the full left and right hand.I thought that the light up would work with the piano teaching apps but it is only for the demo songs included unfortunately.However, now I understand a bit more about how the piano apps work, the light up feature is not needed. It’s a fun added bonus if you are new to the piano and want to have a play around and try some tunes before you know notes and music. But I would not say it is very helpful beyond the initial beginner stages. It’s fun for kids to get them interested and keep them engaged in it.All in all it’s great.Worth the money.Pleased with purchase.

★★★★☆ Nie można załadować treści.  Premetto che suono regolarmente un piano acustico, ho acquistato questo prodotto per le vacanze, così da poter suonare ovunque.Ecco i punti di forza:- chiaramente comodità di portarlo in giro- tasti delle esatte dimensioni del pianoforte, che non sono particolarmente rumorosi- batteria integrata ricaricabile- accessori presenti (pedale sustain, adattatore jack piccolo/grande, leggio, borsa)Punti deboli :- il suono è da tastiera molto economica, pensavo un pochino meglio visto il costo non dei più bassi. Va leggermente meglio con le cuffie ,- la sensazione al tocco dei tasti è strana, per simulare il tasto pesato c’è una sorta di molla dura (anche troppo) . Comunque un minimo di sensibilità al tocco c’è ma non si può parlare di tasti pesati .Direi in definitiva che è un buon acquisto per avere sempre con se un piano, seppure con qualche rinuncia alla qualità del suono, ma lo consiglio solo per questo scopo.Chi vuole imparare a suonare da zero in casa è meglio che si orienti su un piano digitale con tasti pesati .

★★★★★ The first thing you notice when unboxing is the sheer weight – nearly 33lbs (14.8kg). This is no lightweight keyboard of the type you see in Youtube demos of instruments being carried in one hand with ease, or tucked under an arm. Make no mistake – this is a serious piece of kit … in every way. Once positioned on your stand, it's not going anywhere as long as that stand is itself very stable, and it certainly won't jiggle or slide around if you get carried away. (More about stand stability later on).The excellent and detailed product descriptions provided by Amazon give you all the basic information so I see no point in duplicating those here. What I do want to say is that this is an excellent instrument that's not bedevilled by a plethora of voices, rhythms, functions and options which can be very distracting and not always all that useful, necessary or advisable. This is a keyboard with a strictly limited (but very ell chosen) set of voices. My only personal niggle would be that I wish the 'Organ 1' voice had been more of a rock organ sound rather than that of a rather lush Hammond … but that's me being picky.What I want to stress is the effectiveness, USEFULNESS and ease-of-use of those additional options which are provided via the single 'Function' control. With this you can easily adjust and set such features as the bpm and volume of the metronome – the types of reverb, chorus and modulation that can be applied – the type of EQ balance preferred - the Hi/Lo volume parameters – touch sensitivity of the keyboard and so on. To make changes, you select the parameter to be changed and press 'Function' again. By turning the 'Value' button you make your alterations. Very usefully, these can be tested and heard in real time. When you're happy, just press 'Function' again. Once adjusted, your preferences are retained after switching off – although this doesn't seem to apply to 'Transposition'.Of the four possible settings for 'Touch' sensitivity (Off, 1,2,3 with 3 as the hardest), the default is 2 whereas I preferred 1. I changed this in less than 5 seconds.Having a hammer action with weighted keyboard feels VERY different to a standard digital instrument – not surprising as this instrument is meant to feel like a traditional acoustic piano. The option to vary the 'strength' of that 'feel' is therefore very valuable, especially for beginners or those transferring from something like, say a Yamaha 365 or any other similar instrument.As for sound quality – this is excellent and in my opinion stands note-for-note against almost any Yamaha or Casio keyboard. There are the usual options to use earphones or a separate amplifier and, in reality, you wouldn't want massive levels of volume for home use when using the built-in twin speakers. If used in a public performance, you'd use an amplifier or DI into a rig. The quality of sound from the inbuilt speakers is excellent without any trace of distortion and if you want to tweak the Hi/Lo volume levels there's always that Function button.For anyone wanting a plethora of voices, rhythms and effects, this is NOT the instrument for you.Possible considerations might be -(1) An adapter if your earphones use a small 3.5mm jack. The Alesis earphone socket uses a 6.33mm (1/4”) socket. TISINO 3.5mm to 6.35mm Jack Plug Adaptor, 1/4 inch Stereo to 3.5mm Headphone Adapter Jack Converter Gold Plated - 2 Pcak (2) A suitable cover for an 88 key instrument. I chose a Jamber Stetchable cover, but there are many other makes available in a wide range of colours. JamBer Stretchable Electronic Piano Keyboard Dust Cover for 88 Keys Keyboard, Black (3) Earphones. Again there are a wealth of possibilities, depending upon the quality you want. I opted for fairly basic, but very effective foldable ones by Sony (MDRZX310) Sony MDRZX310 Foldable Headphones - Metallic Black (4) Personally, I dislike the usual 'X'-type stand as I often find them to be a tad unstable and also prone to being pushed by your knees when playing. (Remember – this is a HEAVY keyboard. You need a strong and very stable platform on which to place it). My preference is for a model made by Neewer. It's not desperately easy to repeatedly assemble and dis-assemble and then carry around in pieces, but if you're most likely to keep your keyboard at home, then it's worth careful consideration. The other two show the Neewer stand.So, in conclusion, if you want a truly excellent, solidly built and well designed digital piano with hammer action weighted keys – this Alesis is well worth really serious consideration.It's worth adding that there are two other 88 key Alesis pianos which might be of interest if cost is a factor …(a) The Alesis Recital 88 beginner Digital Piano/Keyboard with semi-weighted keys and 5 voices.(b) The same keyboard sold as part of a bundle with 'X' stand, bench and sustain pedal.

Spent several awful years as a kid with forced lessons (familiar story to many - with old-school teacher/endless scales/learning tedious music I STILL don't like!). Amazingly, the fingers remember! And now I'm learning to play the music I truly love!So, knew I wanted a full-size dedicated digital piano (not synth keyboard) with at least semi-weighted keys. Sound was really important, since I have a musician's ear, and can tell the difference between makes of concert grands. On a small pension, so budget disastrous. Classic champagne taste, beer budget...Researched inexpensive models for months. Choice narrowed down to the Yamaha P45 for its build, action, and reputation, and the Alesis Recital Pro for its sound and unbeatable price. Judging a piano's sound from the web is hard. Audio may, or may not be HD, and manufacturers are likely tweaking the sound to improve it. Fortunately, I have audio HD on my laptop, and an audiophile, studio headset. But the source is still obviously mp3/mp4, not flac/wav.Found that I actually preferred the clear sound of the Alesis over the Yamaha - which sounded more neutral and without character.What clinched it for me was that Amazon makes the Alesis Recital Pro available with 5 equal/no fee/no interest payments. This made it a no-brainer for me.Out-of-the-box:Attractive, simple, solid, well-designed unit. Controls adequate (it's definitely not a synth) and straightforward. Standard piano mode with reverb and optional pedal is my default and remarkably good. The other instrument modes actually sound more real through the onboard speakers. Through better speakers/headsets, they sound disturbingly synthesized - at least to my ear. Alesis obviously put their primary effort into the piano sound. The other instruments almost feel like add-ons.Key action has three adjustment points, which are adequate, given the price. By no stretch can you get the nuance and delicacy of tone/volume of a true piano, but for the price, that would be a fantasy. And it's 'way better than the deadness of an unweighted keyboard.I found the straight-up sound and amp output good - actually better than expected. Little did I know...So I decided to do a "What's REALLY in here?" experiment, and dug out my studio cans. It was a revelation.OMG! There's a wannabe Concert Grand hiding in there! Ok, ok, slight exaggeration 😉 , but the difference between the dinky speakers and audiophile headphones was like night and day. And it sounds far better than many pianos featured in films or on Youtube.So out-of-the-box I gave the sound only 4 stars, because the true sound of this extraordinary piano is crippled by tiny, crap speakers. The next step was to hook it up to a high quality sound system. In my case, a venerable, but crystal-clear Yamaha surround system with Polk speakers. Again, quantum leap in sound quality and presence. Alesis might actually do better to sell it speaker-optional, although that would probably scare some beginners away - even though hooking it to a sound system is simple.So, no Steinway D Hamburg in my future. But's that's ok. I look forward to eventually getting the Pianoteq software, and using the Alesis to recreate many of history's greatest pianos. But for now, job one is to get my playing to where I can do this amazing digital piano justice...

★★★☆☆ Nie można załadować treści.  A full-sized folding keyboard is an excellent concept when everyone's got a smartphone nowadays. By the look of it, this keyboard is minimalist and elegant. The sound quality is OK, and you can easily plug in an external synthesiser or speaker to augment the quality. That's not the problem.What was slightly annoying is the noise from pressing the keys - in the recorded video, it sounds like a typewriter. But if you are going to use it as a MIDI controller, this is not an issue either.The reason I returned the keyboard eventually was that I had to connect to a power source all the time when I plug it in with my iPhone. Because it uses the same USB port for charging and MIDI output, whenever it's connected to a phone or a computer, it charges the battery - which draws way too much power for a mobile phone - and iPhone does not like that for a good reason. Yes, you can use a lightning adapter with an external power supply to solve the problem, but it limits the mobility of this keyboard greatly. Ironically, on the manual, it even says "don't use your keyboard while charging, as it may reduce the battery life". If only they made it possible to use it as a MIDI keyboard while NOT charging, this product could be so much better.For the same price, I eventually got a Korg MicroKey 49 - has fewer keys, does not have built-in speakers, but offers much better quality with velocity sensitiveness, is still reasonably portable, and works perfectly with smartphones.

Este detalle es de suma importancia puesto que nos da la oportunidad de tocar con lo que técnicamente llamamos dinámica. LAS TECLAS DE ESTE PIANO SUENAN SIEMPRE AL MISMO VOLUMEN, por lo que la descripción del producto es errónea.Al introducir acordes con la mano izquierda (o al tocar varias teclas al mismo tiempo), en ocasiones los sonidos no suenan a la vez, sino que algunos de ellos llegan con retardo. Esto unido a que las teclas no son de tacto sensible, implica (a mi entender) que al tocar NO HAY UNA SENSACIÓN REALISTA NI UN EFECTO NATURAL, al contrario de lo que se indica en el anuncio.Por estos motivos, he solicitado la devolución. El vendedor la ha aprobado, pero dice que los gastos del envío (unos 25€) debo abonarlos yo, porque considera que el motivo de la devolución "se trata de una apreciación personal del producto". Por mi parte considero que la descripción de venta no corresponde con el producto que he recibido.

★★★★★ Pre ordered this item as it looked like exactly what I had been looking for. As I have limited space, I was looking for a small midi keyboard that I could put away when not in use. So 88 Keys wasn't even an option until I found this. On paper it checked all the right boxes and more! So after a bit of use here's the pros and cons.Pros:Very compact when folded up, I just place it on a bookshelf when not in use, unless you told someone it was a full size keyboard no one would even notice it.Battery lasts a while, no cabledsto fiddle around with and with the inbuilt speakers you can pretty much setup anywhere to play.MIDI support, simply plug it into a pc and set it up like any other kind of MIDI device, or alternatively just use it like a normal keyboard.Even comes with a pedal so saved me some money too!It's a rather thin keyboard, fits nice and sung under my monitor.The keys are okay too, a little light but, they feel nice to play which was good.Cons:Changing instruments etc takes a while. A lack of number pad means you have to cycle though the list to get to the one you want. Some of them also sound very similar, not sure if this is due to the audio quality of the keyboard as I haven't tried plugging it into an external amp yet or headphones.Being a foldable keyboard it was going to come with some challenges of course, you pretty much need to play this on a flat surface. If there was one extra feature I wish this product had, it would be a very simple locking mechanism to stop it folding once unfolded. That way you could even okay it on your lap.Mediocre control panel (just takes too much time to navigate)While these cons may put others off if you are in a similar position as I am and need to save space when not in use - this is a great option and I would highly recommend it. Especially for use with pc.If you have the space however - there are better products out there that don't fold and are cheaper.

It replaces my Yamaha keyboard - which is a good one - as I didn't want all the "voices" that come with a keyboard - husband now has that. So far, I'm impressed. Good sound and features and very sleek looking. The only thing that spoils the classy look of it is the really ugly music stand. Whoever designed that seriously wants shooting (or maybe an eye test), it's just a pity that there are no other styles of music stand available. Come on Korg - how can you design such a lovely instrument and then spoil it with such an ugly, plastic music stand.

★★★★★ Als absoluter Anfänger stand ich vor der Wahl zwischen dem Yamaha P-45B welches mir als bezahlbares "Reinschnupper"-Gerät empfohlen wurde und dem P-125B (die neue Version des P-115B). Die Wahl fiel letztlich aufgrund einiger Youtube-Vergleichsvideos auf das P-125B.Gründe u.a.:- die Aufnahme/Abspiel-Funktion, womit man das eigene Spiel ohne Zusatzgeräte schnell noch einmal hören kann- mehr gleichzeitige Stimmen als beim P-45, (für Anfänger wohl weniger relevant, später aber durchaus)- optimierter Klang (noch besser an den Referenz-Flügel angenähert) und stärkeres Lautsprecher-System.- mehr unterschiedliche Sounds (Orgel, 80er-ePiano usw..) sowie Drum-Backgrounds, welche das Spielen abwechslungsreicher machen. Z.B. das eher monotone Anfänger-Wiederholen von den immer gleichen Tasten macht mit unterschiedlichen Klängen gleich mehr Spass.Die Tasten liegen sehr hoch (Tischplatte+17cm), was eine Nutzung auf dem Tisch i.d.R. ausschliesst. Man braucht einen Ständer (z.B. Yamaha L-125B) bzw. SEHR niedrigen Tisch.Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, es macht einen wertigen (Wohnzimmer-Tauglichen) Eindruck.Die gewichteten Tasten reagieren sehr genau. Das Spielen kommt dem auf einem echten Klavier schon sehr nahe.Der Klang über die 4 Lautsprecher ist gut. Ich nutze aber Kopfhörer... im Sinne meiner Nachbarn, damit ist er perfekt. ;-)Das Instrument macht Spaß und bietet was ich erwartet habe. Ich würde es wieder kaufen!

Ich möchte allerdings nur sagen, dass Sie nicht erwarten sollen, dass sich die sogenannten „gewichteten“ Tasten ähnlich verhalten wie die Tasten eines herkömmlichen Akustikklaviers. Glauben Sie mir: Da liegen Welten dazwischen!Ich wollte Klavier lernen und aus Platzgründen kam bei mir nur ein Digitalklavier in Frage. Ich nehme jetzt Klavierunterricht und übe fleißig. Wenn ich aber dann zu meiner wöchentlichen Klavierstunde gehe, muss ich mich jedes Mal erneut auf die mechanischen Tasten des Steinway-Flügels schwer umstellen, denn ich muss mich um einiges mehr anstrengen, um die mechanischen Tasten zu drucken. Es ist vergleichbar mit jemanden, der Gitarrenunterricht nimmt und zu Hause auf einer E-Gitarre mit dünnen Seiten übt, aber wenn er zu seiner Gitrarenstunde geht, plötzlich auf einer Akustikgitarre mit dicken Seiten vorspielen muss. Also glauben Sie den Marketing-Hype und die Werbesprüche nicht: Das Spielen auf diesem Klavier ist bei weitem nicht mit dem Spielen auf einem herkömmlichen Klavier vergleichbar, was der Anschlag angeht.Zudem hat das E-Piano zwar einen verblüffend echten Klang, aber dies nur über Lautsprecher. Wenn Sie mit Kopfhörer spielen, hören Sie sehr eindeutig den künstlichen, z. T. verzerrten Klang.Nichtsdestotrotz kann ich das P125 sehr empfehlen, ein tolles Instrument! Ich erwähne das oben Genannte nur quasi als „Warnung“, falls ein Interessent ein Instrument erwartet, das ein herkömmliches Klavier ersetzen sollte. Das P125, obwohl ein tolles Klavier — vor allem im Hinblick auf das Preis-/Leistungs-Verhältnis —, tut dies nicht.

★★★★☆ Als erstes - es hat sehr hochwertige Klangfarben und ist sehr gut verarbeitet!Aber ich würde nicht sagen, dass es die am einfachsten bedienbare Music workstation ist.Man muss sich schon sehr gut damit beschäftigen, dass man zurecht kommt!Das Display ist leider etwas klein und die Menüführung könnte etwas einfacher sein, aber wie gesagt nach einiger Zeit bringt man doch was raus, zumal dieses Keyboard sehr sehr viele und auch sehr gute Funktionen hat.Für reine Anfänger würde ich es nicht empfehlen, man braucht doch etwas Erfahrung mit Arranger Keyboards.Super sind auch die downloadbare Software Pakete für den PC, und auf der Hersteller Website kann man sich noch Styles runterladen.Für diesen Preis ein Tolles Gerät!

But was reassured by many international reviews.The product turned out to be much better than expected.Be it sound quality, feel of the keys, the way keys sound when pressed for long, everything is very satisfying.So much so that along with our son, we both parents also started learning to play basic tunes on piano for first time. : )I think this model is ideal for young learners as well as for those who want to start playing piano as a hobby.Only thing one needs to consider is the size of the keyboard. It's almost a meter wide. So check if you have enough space on a proper table or else go for a piano stand.
